Equity of Computer Access in Education

 

One of the biggest issues in education today is equity of access to resources. These resources range from text books to qualified teachers, with one of the most important resources being computers.

In today's world, knowledge of computers, their functions and their uses is critical for individuals to be successful communicators, consumers of information, and members of the work force. The educational community recognizes this, and many members therein have attempted to increase computer access within the classroom.

However, many issues affect equity of computer access in the classroom. Our website explores a few such issues.
